N5SLN Morse Trainer is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Data Collection
This app does NOT collect:
- Personal information
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics
- Crash reports
All your practice data, settings, and progress are stored locally on your device only.
Local Storage
The app stores the following data locally on your device:
- Practice settings (speed, frequency, volume)
- Learning progress (Koch method unlocked characters)
- Session statistics (accuracy, streaks)
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone else.
Text-to-Speech (Head Copy Mode)
Head Copy mode uses your device's built-in text-to-speech (TTS) engine to speak answers aloud. Important notes:
- TTS is a system service provided by Android/your device manufacturer
- Text sent to TTS (characters, words, callsigns) is processed by your device's TTS engine
- If you select a network-based voice, text may be transmitted to the TTS provider's servers
- To ensure fully offline operation, select a voice that does not require network connection
This app does not control how your device's TTS engine processes data. Please review your device's TTS settings and privacy policy if you have concerns.
Internet Access
This app does not require internet access for core functionality and does not communicate with any servers controlled by the app developer. However:
- Google Play Billing requires internet for PRO purchases
- Network-based TTS voices (if selected) may transmit text to their servers
For fully offline operation, use offline TTS voices and the free version of the app.
Third-Party Services
This app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The app integrates with:
- Google Play Billing (for PRO purchases)
- Android Text-to-Speech (system service)
These are standard Android system services. Please review Google's privacy policy for information about how these services handle data.
Children's Privacy
This app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
